該裝置由摩擦裝置及樣品固定裝置組成。實驗進行前還可放置砝碼模擬手部施力。測試鉛筆、蠟筆、iPad等產品的靜摩擦力（Stiction friction）、平均摩擦力（Average Friction）等指標。
